Dr. Erik K. DiVietro
Senior Pastor
Erik was called as our pastor in 2004. In 2010, he and a team of elders led a merger that produced Bedford Road. Erik holds multiple graduate degrees, including a PhD in Bible Exposition from the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University. He and his wife are both accomplished musicians. They have one adult daughter.
Elders
We believe a biblical eldership is a community of men who meet the biblical qualifications for the office and are able to handle the tasks of oversight in the congregation. Our pastor serves as one of our elders, and the entire elder community works together closely.
Ray Pouliot
After serving as pastor of Riverside Christian Church for 25 years, Ray retired from full-time ministry and joined our elders at Bedford Road to oversee Christian education and small groups.
Jim MacDuff
A retired chemical engineer, Jim oversees Family Ministries (which his wife Sheila directs) and our security ministries. He also coordinates our Lord's Table team.
Sean Donahue
Sean has served as our facilities manager for decades, and he wears many hats. He handles regular pastoral care, connecting with shut-ins and those in need of in-home ministry.
Dave Columbus
Now retired from the business world, Dave handles our financial and procedural infrastructure. He is the guy who ensures there is consistency across the many ministries of our congregation.
Ministry Leaders
The vast majority of the ministry work at Bedford Road is handled by teams of volunteers. In keeping with the scriptural principles (Acts 6:1–7), our elders select individuals who meet the qualifications of a church ministry leader (διάκονος, 1 Tim 3:8–13) and entrust them with specific ministry tasks within the congregation.
Jeff Mostrom
Worship Team Lead
Jeff is responsible for the music and media teams that lead worship during the Sunday gatherings. He also leads the music team meetings, which consist of Bible study, prayer and music.
Sheila MacDuff
Family Ministries Lead
Sheila oversees two teams that serve our families: nursery for ages 0-4 and children's church for school age students up to grade 3.
Jim Nocella
Safety & Security Lead
Behind the scenes, Jim works with a security team which ensures the safety of the congregation through observation, training, and information.
Ray Brown
Missions Team Lead
Ray coordinates communication with our missionaries, both foreign and domestic. He and the missions team are also involved in local outreach.
Shaun & Megan Mitchell
Children's Church Team Coordinator
Shaun and Megan coordinate the team of volunteers that serve our families in children's church for school age students up to grade 3.
Carol Pouliot
Nursery Team Coordinator
Carol coordinates the team of volunteers that serve our families in the nursery for ages 0-4.
Betty Barry
Hospitality Team Lead
Betty coordinates the 'welcome' team making sure all that enter the front door are greeted with a smile and a helpful guide to new guests.
Therese Wyman
Prayer Team Coordinator
Therese facilitates a time of prayer each week and ensures someone is available to pray with those in need of prayer after the Sunday worship service.
Support Team
To maintain order and structure (1 Cor 14:40), we maintain a small support team who handle the administration and organization of the church.
Heather Biron
Church Administrator
Heather handles the day-to-day operations of the congregation, maintaining schedules and coordinating teams and resources.
Thalia Rivera
Treasurer
Thalia "keeps the books" for the congregation. She manages disbursements and budgets for all our ministries.
Bob Bragdon
Financial Secretary
Bob records and reports all donations made to the congregation.
Sue Spillane
Church Clerk
Sue is responsible for covenant membership rolls and recording minutes of any "business" events.
