Giving

Bedford Road Baptist Church is an independent congregation, which means the covenant members have taken on the responsibilities of financial stewardship. We do not have a denomination or anonymous endowments that pay our expenses. Every dime we spend comes from the people who call Bedford Road their home.

There is a biblical mandate for the local church to be self-supporting. Your giving not only provides for the care of our pastor and facility but also for all the ministries we are involved in. We strive to maintain good accounting of all our funds and we take care to budget effectively so special offerings are extremely rare.

We provide the option to give online here as an alternative method if you are unable to participate in the worship gatherings or automatic payments. But since this service does charge a handling fee (a small one, but still) the ideal method of giving is still by check or cash in a worship gathering.
